Advice from a Kid’s Perspective

Best hotels for kids from a kids point of view.

In my opinion, the best value resort for kids is the All Star Resorts. But my favorite is the All Star Music Resort. It has a lot of fun stuff for kids to do. Some are movies under the stars which is when the resort puts on a movie outside for kids, some like Tangled or A Bug’s Life, but you will have to check the resort schedule for what movie it that night and it is not every night.

The pools are also very kid friendly here. One of the pools is the piano pool. This pool is not the main pool, but it’s still fun and good for just a quick dip in the pool before it’s time to head back to the room. But the main pool here is the Calypso pool and it is in the shape of a guitar and has a fountain of the Three Caballeros. This pool also offers some fun kid activities, like a scavenger hunt and much more games at times. The food here is also regular like chicken tenders and other American food.

My favorite moderate resort is Port Orleans Riverside. I love Port Orleans Riverside because is has a lot of fun thing for kids to do. One is the pool. The main pool at The Port Orleans Riverside is very kid friendly. It has a water slide that is not that steep. There is also kid friendly food here too. Movie Under the Stars is also available at this resort, which is fun for kids. And this resort has a small playground for kids to play on before heading to the parks. And this resort is in the Disney Springs area so it is just one boat ride away to a fun shopping day, and one walk over to the other port Orleans French quarter side and you can have some fun over there too and do some swimming and shopping.

And my Favorite Deluxe is The Contemporary. The Contemporary offers a lot of dining. Some of the dinning here is just a quick service like the Contempo Cafe which is just a regular mobile order and pick up place for those early mornings and just want something quick. But if you want a character meal then Chef Mickey’s is the place for you. At this restaurant you meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto and it is a buffet style meal. I prefer the breakfast here but they also offer dinner here too.

It is also on the monorail, which also goes to The Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom, Ticket and Transportation Center, and The Polynesian. And if you want to eat fancy you can go to the California Grill. The California Grill is an adult restaurant, but they also offer dinner that kids would like to. And from the California Grill you can see the Magic Kingdom Fireworks and they also play the music in the restaurant and they have a balcony to watch the fireworks from. The pool at The Contemporary is good too. They also have a water slide, but it is not super scary at all and fun to ride at night. The pool also has a splash pad that kids can play in before or after they get in or come out of the pool. You can also see the fireworks from the pool here. The rooms here are themed to The Incredibles and they have fun gift shops here.

But over all, every single Disney World hotel is amazing and fun- just from a kid’s point of view, I like these the most and they have the most activities for kids and kids have the most fun here.
